We have extensive experience of Mergers & Acquisitions within the fiduciary services sector. Direct experience was gathered whilst working within several fiduciary companies which were the subject of acquisitions,. Equally, we have experience of working on the side of the Purchaser, reviewing businesses in both the Isle of Man and Malta ready for acquisition. This has included in depth due diligence at company and underlying client level, liaising with boards of directors and relevant project teams, liaising with the Regulators and most importantly being able to undertake the necessary work required to complete a transaction from a company secretarial, regulatory, risk and compliance perspective.

Corporate Due Diligence
Kesmi has experience in carrying out due diligence for corporate transactions. Ranging from board oversight to corporate records to reviewing procedures in place. Kesmi can carry out this function discretely working alongside the directors of the business.
Client Due Diligence
Kesmi can undertake client due diligence by reviewing client files for due diligence, application of processes, ongoing monitoring and corporate governance. Helping boards identify any patterns or trends, or risks, that need to be considered as part of a commercial transaction.
Reporting
Kesmi can provide a regulatory and due diligence report to the board and shareholders for a potential corporate transaction. Having someone that is qualified and experienced can remove the burden of this from an already time consuming, all encompassing process.
